Housings are fabricated from steel with a white powder coat finish. If necessary eyebolts can be field installed in the weld nuts located at all corners for suspending the unit.

Pharmaceutical-style units feature an anodized aluminum perforated grille with round holes hinged to open, permitting removal of the HEPA or ULPA filter without removing the unit from the ceiling.

Units are available in 115V (60 Hz), 208V-230V (50/60 Hz) and 277V (60 Hz), single phase and 208V/460V, 3 phase.

HEPA or ULPA 99.9995% eff. at 0.12 micron final filters are protected with a white epoxy diamond pattern grille and are tested according to accepted procedures as described by the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IEST) and or ISO standards.

The HEPA are designed for 90 FPM average face velocity at initial 0.47 w.g. and has a rated efficiency of 99.99% at 0.3 micron or larger.

SAM Haz Loc Units are equipped with an AMCA B-rated blower and Class 1 Group D, Class 2 Groups F & G motor.
